Before I went back to school, I was working in law enforcement. I chose to get my degree online because of the hectic schedule of shift changes all the time. I was able to access a computer easier than to drive to a campus and sit in a class. I would wake up in the morning I would get my course material and assignments for that day. I would print them out and read them on lunch breaks or any break that I had. Usually in the evening, I would respond to the question or the assignment for that day.
I am definitely furthering my education by going back to the online university for my bachelor's degree. I got my associate's degree and became a Seagent. I am addicted to the online courses so now I want to go back for a lieutenant position. For that, I need a bachelor's degree. That is what I am trying to do. It is conducive to my schedule. I don't have to wait around or work around my plans.
