Special Education Certificate

The Special Education Certification is designed for teachers who want to develop and refine their ability to meet the demands of students with special educational needs. The convenient online format of this certification program allows working professionals to increase their credentials while maintaining other responsibilities. This certification is also available through a graduate program in Special Education, based on Response to Intervention (RTI), leading to a Master of Science in Education degree with a certification in Special Education (pre-K through 12th grade)*.


*Certification courses must be completed by December 31, 2012. For those completing coursework after this date, it is anticipated that some certification requirement may change.
