B.S.N. Track: For Registered Nurses entering the program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.).
Learn how you can more effectively utilize information technology to enhance the quality of patient care. This specialization blends nursing science with computer and information science. Coursework focuses on such key areas as information systems, database concepts, and effective project management. Fieldwork experience provides you with the opportunity to apply your new knowledge immediately.
Students who enter the program with a bachelor's degree in nursing complete the following core curriculum and then progress on to the courses in the Nursing Informatics specialization.
