Master of Science in Financial Management and Information Systems

UMUC's Master of Science in Financial Management and Information is designed for mid-career professionals seeking a graduate degree that integrates a financial management curriculum with studies in the information systems field. The curriculum equally benefits individuals in the information systems/CIO field who would like to expand their studies into the areas of financial management.

In addition to fundamental financial theory covered in the program, participants gain competency in valuation techniques and cost management. Finance topics are combined with studies in information systems and database design, with emphasis placed on acquisition, project management, integration with telephony, and risk and security management.
