Life Care Planning Certificate

This program was created for health care professionals who want to have a career in the life care planning field. Students learn important skills needed in this industry including how to document current and future psychosocial, medical and economic needs of an individual with a disability or long-term health problem. Life care planners are responsible for analyzing, researching and performing assessments as well as utilizing the methodologies and foundations in the process.

Life care planners are in charge of the care, treatment and rehabilitation of people with disabilities. Students will not only learn ethics, but also get a better understanding of the medical aspects of disabilities.

Participants will research literature, practice guidelines and publish data that supports different plan recommendations.
