Graduate Certificate in Database Systems Technology

UMUC's Graduate Database System Technology Certificate focuses on the design, development, and management of database technologies - a core component of most businesses. Focus is on relational databases, with opportunities to study distributed databases, data warehousing, data mining, database administration, and database security.

Most coursework includes laboratory experiences. Core coursework includes: Relational Database Systems, Advanced Relational/Object-Relational Database Systems, Distributed Database Management Systems, Data Warehouse Technologies, and Database System Administration. This certificate requires 15 semester hours to complete.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Individual programs may have additional requirements.
