Renowned for its experience in the field of economic crime, Utica College offers an online MBA in Fraud Management, qualifying students for positions in fraud analysis, fraud investigation, fraud examination and compliance in either the private or public sectors. This program offers students an opportunity to learn specific concepts and tools to assist them in managing complex technology projects and programs while identifying and preventing economic crimes. Combining a core curriculum in business with courses in fraud prevention and detection and financial investigation, the program prepares graduates for fraud management careers in a variety of industries such as banking, credit card, telecommunications, insurance, retail, and financial services.

The fraud management program, which can be completed in two years of part-time study, utilizes a flexible, distance learning format, faculty-directed study at home, and two brief on-campus week-end residencies during the program.

Additionally, the curriculum provides students with the academic qualifications to take the comprehensive examinations to become a Certified Fraud Examiner (offered by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) and a Certified Financial Crime Investigator (offered by the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators).
