Entrepreneurship Associate

An associate of arts in entrepreneurship is an introductory degree to the world of business ownership and management. Students gain foundational concepts of business workings, learning preparatory skills to enter or develop their careers within the workforce. Basic management, accounting, and marketing principles are taught to students in order to facilitate both practical use and future education.

The skills learned in an AA entrepreneurship program prepare a graduate with information that might allow them to be in a supervisory role, overseeing processes and even other people. This organized approach to business teaches students what it takes to be a successful manager, and ultimately, business owner. A student might use his acquired skills to collaborate with an existing business owner on a new product or business venture. Or, this kind of degree could be used to establish an expertise in small business, allowing the student to begin a venture in consultation. These are just two of the many options this degree may help create. An entrepreneurship program allows the student to lay groundwork for what could be an exciting career managing a business, or even running their own operation. Whether you seek to improve your position in your current career path, or carve out a new one, an associate degree in entrepreneurship will help you put your plan into action.
