Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (BSCJ) degree is a balanced liberal arts program designed to prepare students for a career in criminal justice, corrections, security and various local, state and federal law enforcement positions. Students will learn criminology theory and research and the application of these philosophies to complex challenges facing law enforcement agencies. Whether students are interested in adding impressive credentials to their resume or contemplating a move into criminal justice professions, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice will empower them to attain specific career goals in law enforcement and criminology.

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice can choose from several tracks including law enforcement, corrections, business administration, legal processes and loss prevention. While enrolled in a criminal justice program, students will encounter a variety of courses. Possible BSCJ classes include Police and Society, Terrorism and Criminology. Candidates who successfully complete the program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
