Biometric Security BAS

Biometric technology is growing in popularity, both in the private and public sectors. With respect to the field of Information Security, Biometrics is the applicable study of how to authenticate individuals via biological features. An option to passwords, which can be cracked or stolen, biometric authentication applies unique physical characteristics such as fingerprint, retina or voice patterns. A BAS in Biometric Security will prepare students to apply biometric technologies to meet the need for secure authentication.
