Globally, the world continues its march towards becoming a true village, with individuals, corporations, governments, and non-profit agencies reaching across borders and oceans alike to accomplish their goals. Isolationism simply doesn’t exist for countries, cultures, or businesses that want to grow and prosper. As a result, the need for management experts with global knowledge is becoming more pressing. Many colleges today offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Global Management degree in order to meet those needs. Students will become knowledgeable in fundamental business practices such as accounting, management theory and practice, and finance, but they will also delve deeply into topics that will help them meet management needs in a global setting.

Programs in global management are competitive and may have minimum entrance requirements. Program curriculums vary and may also have differing specialty topics, such as focusing on business in Asia, or International Marketing. Many programs may also require students to be proficient in at least one foreign language. Many programs help prepare students by asking them to prepare solutions to real-world global problems such as water shortages, transportation issues, or language barriers.
