Bachelor of Science in Business Admin/Human Resources

A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Human Resources is a four-year degree program that stresses a strong foundation of understanding how organizations can support their objectives through the use of benefits, compensation, training and development, and recruitment. Students will learn about talent management, legal compliance, employee advocacy, and the coaching of teams and individuals. The importance of monitoring employee performance and organizational change is highlighted along with the understanding that modern day business is affected by globalization and diversity. This curriculum will aid students in evaluating and interpreting legal environments and regulations that impact corporations, explaining how varied elements of group dynamics affect the effectiveness and functioning of teams, developing the people of organizations and understanding how valued their roles are, scrutinizing the forces and influences that impact leadership styles and affect change, applying solid management principles to the functions of organizing, coordinating, and planning with regards to strategic activities, and identifying traits that reveal the strongest relations to leadership, behavioral engagement, and the limitations of leadership. A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Human Resources curriculum requires students to communicate effectively in written or oral forms and to act in a professional manner.
