A Bachelor of Management in Human Resources Management degree program is a four-year curriculum which fosters tailored management and business abilities necessary to work within human resources and business industries. Nearly every business field has a human resources department so students who graduate with this degree will have numerous opportunities to work as labor relations managers, recruiters, human resources information systems specialists, affirmative action coordinators, compensation managers, employee assistance or benefits managers, or trainers. This program hones the leadership and critical thinking skills that are imperative within this field. Students will concentrate on learning about employment law, labor relations, strategic staffing, human resource systems, and how these areas interact and engage with one another under the umbrella of human resources. A Bachelor of Management in Human Resources Management degree teaches students how to zero in on the personal aspects of business and will educate students in how to motivate, maintain, and develop employees. Concerns such as employees’ safety, health, payment, equal employment opportunities, and labor relations are stressed as well. Students will be faced with challenges and given the tools needed to not only overcome the challenges but to succeed when dealing with them. In this manner, students learn that management is about people and helping them to achieve their organization’s goals.
