A Bachelor of Management in Consulting is a four-year degree curriculum that emphasizes the development of effective processes and decision making with regards to the leadership and management of organizations. This degree program fosters on solid research, and personal and interviewing abilities which further assist students in identifying important issues related to management counseling. Students will learn in individual and groups settings, examine varied types of interventions within organizations, foster consultant-client relationships, analyze the image of consulting in society, prepare for consulting careers, explore theoretical frameworks within the consulting industry, view field innovations, learn necessary rhetoric for making arguments in rational manners, understand how this process influences public debates, and construct personal coaching styles. Many career opportunities exist for students who graduate with a Bachelor of Management in Consulting in areas such as information technology, healthcare operations, organizational transformation, operations, and private and public sectors. Students will conduct research and present their findings in a manner oriented towards action, they will assess the effectiveness of various consulting tools and methods, and complete evaluations. Students who obtain their bachelor’s can continue their education by engaging in upper level graduate work and procuring a master’s or PhD degree in related fields.
