An associate of science in human resource administration encompasses a wide range of human resource topics including but not limited to compensation, collective bargaining, employment law, employee relations, labor relations, business principles, human resource strategies, and accounting. Students will be able to analyze and critique fundamental human resource theories and use these ideologies in entry-level positions upon graduation. Students who are looking for employment after graduation have numerous opportunities such as becoming human resources assistants or employment interviewers. Because most corporations have human resource departments, students can fill many different types of job slots within varied businesses. Students who are acquiring their associate of science in human resource administration degree will take some general education classes along with more coursework in specialized subjects like human resources.
