An associate of arts in general education is a versatile degree path designed to keep a student’s after-college career plans open to a variety of options. The scope of coursework covers all subject areas with the intention of exposing students to a wide-reaching array of knowledge. These subjects may include chemistry, biology, literature, economics, mathematics, history, and humanities, all taught at a collegiate level. This wide focus allows students to use electives to begin thinking about their careers, where they electively earn credits they feel they may have an interest in.
