Animators today must have a host of highly developed technical skills that will enable them to utilize the tremendous advances in computer animation that have occurred in the last several years. New technologies are constantly evolving, and specialized programs of study are being developed for professionals in the animation industry. Advanced Studies in Character Animation programs take from six months to 18 months to complete. Students will become familiar with and learn advanced skills in the program, including digital compositing, conceptual practices, lighting and camera theory, and production and design.
