A vocational and trade degree is commonly one that focuses on giving students the specific skills necessary to succeed in a particular profession. These degree paths span across a wide range of industries, including health services, automotive, electrical, and paralegal.
Depending on which vocation that you are interested in the, usually no more than two-year, degree program will have highly-focused courses on that profession. For instance, an automotive technician program will have classes on fixing cars and an electrician program will have classes on repairing circuitry.
