Java Concepts Courses

This course offers students more advanced programming concepts and techniques in Java. Topics covered include GUI concepts, Event-Driven Programming, Serialization, Multithreading, Relational Database Programming, Java Beans, Network Programming, J2EE, XML, Security and Web Applications. Once the course is completed, students will be able to create interactive application in Java and employ its cross-platform capabilities. Students will also be able to expand upon their basic Java familiarity to more advanced level by developing more complex software applications.

Students will also learn how to manage looping with each repetition structure including a control variable, a Boolean test, a loop body and an update. Students will also review arrays and their use in Java. One of the most important ways to do this is through the implementation of variables as subscripts. Arrays are preprogrammed lists that share the same data type and the same name, and they require reserved memory.
