This course covers the variety of insurance coverage types available in the current market. Students will learn about different benefits available to employees, which are often called fringe benefits. Other insurance-related topics include: property/casualty policies, life insurance, medical expenses, long-term care and disability insurance. Employee benefits discussions cover deferred compensation, group policies, the business applications of life insurance and equity-based compensation.
