Dreamweaver Courses

This course was designed for students interested in designing websites. The student will continue to analyze and interpret HTML (HyperText Markup Language) code to successfully explain the purpose of this code and will also apply the skills from this course to create their own website using Adobe Dreamweaver.

This course will cover the basics in web development, including a review of the basics of the Internet. Students will be introduced to the basic building blocks that make up a web page and learn tips on how to make their page stand out from all the others online. Before creating a website, it is important to document the goals and purpose of the site.

Course Objectives

  • By the end of this course, students will be able to explain how to use Dreamweaver to plan and design a website and examine the code behind the web page and describe its purpose.
  • They will have the skills to create a website using the following development methods: Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Tables, Navigation Bars using Graphic Rollovers, Dynamic pages, Rich Media, Reusable Assets and Forms/Web Forms as well as the ability to create simple web images.
